Ed Thurston has been catering for over 15 years. He completed his apprenticeship at the prestigious Westin Hotel in downtown Edmonton. After several years in Edmonton, Ed returned to his hometown of Lively in 1994 to run the family catering business. His main focus is on home style cooking with a gourmet touch.
His more recent successes have been winning the Reader Choice Award for Favourite Caterer for 2005, as well as receiving an Award of Distinction from the Sudbury Mayor Office. During the relocation of the people of Kashechewan, we worked alongside the Red Cross. We were also involved in catering the movie sets that were filming in Sudbury; The Shania Twain Movie and Meteo+, among others.
